&lt;div&gt;Yup. I had a \( in that comment to avoid meissng up the syntax highlighting. That worked OK but  Org mode uses \( to indicate LaTeX code. I hunted around in the Org export code and figured out how to turn it off. I don't remember the details but I can look them up if you're interested.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
